Juan Soto Linked with MLB The Show 27 Cover as Mission Viejo Claims Alpha League Crown

Juan Soto remains linked with MLB The Show 27 cover star predictions as Mission Viejo secures its third consecutive Alpha League title with a 54-44 victory over San Juan Hills on October 30, 2026.

Juan Soto continues to be mentioned in MLB The Show 27 cover star speculation, with reports linking him alongside Yordan Alvarez and Junior Caminero as potential successors to Aaron Judge, according to a Realsport101 article dated October 19, 2026.

Mission Viejo defeated San Juan Hills 54-44 in an Alpha League shootout on October 30, 2026, to claim its third straight conference championship, with senior running back Carson Vandermade contributing 121 yards and three touchdowns before exiting in the third quarter.

The Diablos' offensive line, featuring four Division I-committed players, created massive running lanes that allowed Jack Junker to gain 132 yards and Carson Vandermade to rush for 121 yards, while quarterback Brett Burnor added 30 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and connected on nine of 12 passes for 188 yards.

While Juan Soto is listed as a dark horse candidate for the MLB The Show 27 cover, the same article notes Yordan Alvarez led the 2026 season with a .316 batting average, 42 home runs and 106 RBIs, making him the primary favorite to replace Aaron Judge as the franchise's face.

Soto's 2026 performance, though not detailed in the Mission Viejo story, remains a topic of discussion as the MLB The Show 27 cover conversation intensifies following the completion of the World Series and the end of the regular season.
