Aaron Judge was born on April 26, 1992, in Sacramento, California, and was adopted the following day by Patty and Wayne Judge, both educators in Linden. Growing up, he was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and excelled in multiple sports during his time at Linden High School, where he distinguished himself as a three-sport athlete.

Judge's baseball journey began at California State University, Fresno, where he played for the Bulldogs and earned multiple honors, including Freshman of the Year. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft and made his MLB debut in 2016, quickly gaining attention for his powerful hitting.
