Ferran Torres Urges Pedri to Join PSG After Sensational

Ferran Torres is making headlines for his stunning start at Paris Saint-Germain and his efforts to bring a former teammate to the French capital. The Spanish forward is actively trying to persuade Barcelona midfielder Pedri to join him at PSG, leveraging their close off-pitch relationship. This comes as Torres himself enjoys a spectacular adaptation to his new club, scoring with remarkable efficiency and reflecting on the goal that won Spain the 2026 World Cup.

Ferran Torres Champions Pedri's Move to Paris

The forward is using his influence to shape PSG's future. Since his own summer move from Barcelona, Torres has been urging his friend and former colleague Pedri to follow him to Paris. The players share a strong bond, and Torres has previously spoken about missing Pedri after leaving Catalonia. The 23-year-old midfielder, valued at €150 million, has been a key figure for Barcelona this season with one goal and two assists in eight matches. Torres's campaign to recruit him highlights the forward's immediate integration and ambition within the Parisian project.

The Shark Conquers Paris with Perfect Start

Torres's decision to change clubs is paying off in the most emphatic way possible. His adaptation has been nothing short of brilliant, marked by a sensational week in mid-September. After scoring a superb hat-trick in the Champions League, he followed it up with another goal in Ligue 1. Official statistics show an incredible 100 percent strike rate in his first six appearances for PSG: six shots on target have resulted in seven goals across all competitions. This immediate impact has cemented his status as the standout figure in Luis Enrique's attacking setup.

Reliving the Silence of a World Cup Final Winner

Beyond his club form, Torres recently opened up about the defining moment of his international career. He scored the only goal in the 106th minute of extra time to secure Spain's 1-0 victory over Argentina in the 2026 World Cup final. Assisted by Nico Williams, the strike came after a rapid sequence of play. Torres described a moment of profound focus, echoing Andres Iniesta's famous 2010 sensation. "When I was about to shoot, I don't know why, but I heard what felt like silence for a second," Torres said. "What a feeling." He admits he has watched the moment back but remembers the celebration's adrenaline more than the shot itself. The goal was his 25th in 64 caps for La Roja.
