Ferran Torres Hits Perfect Start at PSG with Six Goals

Ferran Torres is making an immediate and spectacular impact at Paris Saint-Germain. The Spanish forward, who joined from Barcelona this summer, has scored with every single shot he has put on target for his new club, a perfect six goals from six attempts.

His adaptation to French football has been seamless and prolific. Torres enjoyed a sensational week in mid-September, starting with a superb hat-trick in the Champions League. He followed that up by scoring again in Ligue 1 just days later. Official statistics confirm his incredible efficiency: six shots on target have resulted in six goals in all competitions for PSG. The bold decision to leave Barcelona is paying off in the most emphatic way possible.

The club's decision to sign the 26-year-old is now looking like a masterstroke. Recent revelations from Belgian international Charles De Ketelaere confirm that Torres was a priority. De Ketelaere, a key player for Atalanta, stated he held talks with PSG during the last transfer window. "I spoke with PSG, but in the end they chose Ferran Torres," he said in late September. This confirms the Spanish forward was the final choice over other evaluated options as PSG sought to strengthen their attack. The move brought Torres to Paris while De Ketelaere remained in Italy.

Torres carried significant momentum into this club season from his international exploits over the summer. He was a central figure for Spain during their run to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. While specific match details from the final are not available in the provided sources, Torres has publicly reflected on the powerful emotions of scoring against Argentina in that ultimate match. That high-pressure experience on the world's biggest stage appears to have prepared him well for the expectations at a club like PSG.
