Ferran Torres Calls PSG Move a Step Forward, Angering

Ferran Torres has angered supporters of his former club by calling his summer move to Paris Saint-Germain a step forward. The Spain international completed a €50 million transfer to the European champions and is set to face Barcelona in the Champions League on October 20.

Why are Barcelona fans upset with Ferran Torres?

Comments made by Ferran Torres after his transfer have reportedly upset the fanbase at the Camp Nou. In an interview, the forward described joining PSG as "a step forward" in his career. He expressed specific gratitude to PSG manager Luis Enrique for his belief. The perceived slight is amplified by the reported lack of public farewells from many of his former Barcelona teammates upon his departure.

Torres acknowledged that the upcoming match against Barcelona will be "special." But he was clear about his intentions, stating he aims to win for his new team.

How is Barcelona coping without him?

Barcelona's decision not to directly replace Torres in the squad has so far paid off. The club has reshuffled its attack, with Raphinha moving into a central role. The Brazilian has responded brilliantly, scoring five goals in three league games to lead the scoring charts. This form suggests the team has adapted quickly to life after Torres's exit.

What is Ferran Torres's personal training regimen?

Away from the controversy, the World Cup winner recently shared details of his fitness routine. Torres published a four-move full-body workout he uses to maintain peak condition. While the exact exercises weren't detailed in the source, sharing this insight offers fans a glimpse into the dedication required at the top level of the sport. Maintaining this physical standard will be key for his integration at PSG.
