Pedro Acosta Warns KTM MotoGP Reliability Issues Persist

Pedro Acosta is not expecting reliability improvements from KTM before the German MotoGP on 10-12 July.

What happened?

Acosta suffered reliability issues on all three days in Brno, with a breakdown on the final lap of the grand prix.

The issues started with a failure in Practice and a ride height device issue in the Sprint that contributed to his crash at turn 11.

Why it matters for Pedro Acosta

The Spanish rider hopes to have the second half of his final season with KTM free of reliability issues.

Pedro Acosta said KTM has to understand what is going on and bring some solutions soon, but it will be difficult before Sachsenring.

What comes next?

Acosta's final Red Bull KTM Factory Racing season will be followed by his first with Ducati, teaming up with compatriot and nine-time world champion Marc Marquez.

He thinks he can learn from Marquez's experience, having ridden with legends like Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, and Valentino Rossi.

Acosta believes Marquez can share his experience on how to manage races and pressure, having won nine titles already.

The German MotoGP is the last round before the four-week summer break, and Acosta will race in the Dutch MotoGP on 26-28 June.

Pedro Acosta will then focus on the second half of the season, hoping for a stronger performance with KTM.

The summer break will be crucial for KTM to address their reliability issues and come back stronger.

Pedro Acosta's move to Ducati has been confirmed, and he will join the Ducati Lenovo Team next year.

He will team up with Marc Marquez, and the two Spanish riders will aim to bring success to the team.
