A recent Oberleitungsschaden (overhead wire damage) caused chaos on the Weststrecke between St. Valentin and Linz Hbf. The damage also affected the Stellwerk (signal box) in Mitleidenschaft (involvement), leading to disruptions in the train schedule.

For passengers who need to travel between St. Valentin and Linz Hbf, Schienenersatzbusse (rail replacement buses) will continue to operate. These buses will be available for both Nahverkehr (local transport) and Fernverkehrs-Fahrgäste (long-distance transport) passengers.
