Dricus du Plessis Predicts Conor McGregor Win

Dricus du Plessis is backing Conor McGregor to win against Max Holloway at UFC 329.

What's at Stake?

The former UFC middleweight champion believes McGregor can win by KO in Las Vegas this weekend.

Dricus du Plessis told Fight Forecast he's a massive fan of both men, but can't bring himself to back against 'Mystic Mac'.

He's never made a secret of his admiration for McGregor, who started his UFC run when du Plessis was starting his pro career.

Why McGregor?

Du Plessis thinks McGregor has the scary timing and sneaky power to get the job done, saying everybody that's fought him feels it when he hits.

Ilia Topuria knocked out Max Holloway, so it can be done, du Plessis said.

Upcoming Fight

Dricus du Plessis will return from his middleweight title loss at UFC Oklahoma City on July 18, facing Kamaru Usman in a main event battle of former UFC champions.

The UFC Oklahoma City fight card includes Jared Cannonier vs Christian Leroy Duncan and Kevin Holland vs Jacobe Smith.

Du Plessis hasn't fought since he was outwrestled by Khamzat Chimaev for five rounds at UFC 319 in August 2025.

The 32-year-old is looking to bounce back from his title loss and make a statement in the middleweight division.

What's Next?

Dricus du Plessis will face a tough test against Kamaru Usman, but a win could put him back in the title picture.

The fight against Usman is a long-awaited main event battle of former UFC champions, and du Plessis is looking to make a statement.

Du Plessis is confident in his abilities and is looking to prove himself as a top contender in the middleweight division.

The UFC Oklahoma City event will take place on July 18, and du Plessis is looking to make a strong return to the Octagon.
