Christian Petracca Unveiled as AFL 23 Cover Star

Christian Petracca is the new face of AFL 23, the official video game of the Australian Football League, alongside Darcy Vescio. The pair were unveiled as cover stars at an exclusive launch at Fortress Melbourne on Wednesday.

AFL 23 is developed in partnership with Big Ant Studios and will feature all 18 AFL and AFLW teams and players. The game will deliver incredible action and realism on screens around Australia.

Big Ant Studios CEO Ross Symons stated that AFL 23 is a passion project for the team. The game will feature career mode, motion-captured likeness, realistic game plans and unique player traits powered by Champion Data. Players can play however and wherever they want-either managing clubs, playing multiple seasons, trading players, playing online or at home with friends. The game's new and exciting features were showcased at the launch, attended by big-name players and gamers alike. AFL 23 will be available for fans and gamers on April 13, with the game set to deliver an authentic AFL gaming experience. The league has worked closely with Big Ant to build a unique game that best represents the sport.
